The Greatest Generation of Fools Ever

I’ve taken a few days off from writing, because so many things were happening at the same time, that choosing a singular editorial focus was problematic . . . AND THEN IT HIT ME:
We are living in a generation that has spawned the GREATEST number of IDIOTS imaginable. And I don’t say that lightly . . . IT IS 100% TRUE.
What we just witnessed in Cyprus should be sending shock waves to every FREEDOM-LOVING person throughout the world, but ESPECIALLY within North America, and perhaps mostly because the US government has already raided the people’s coffers to bail out SPECIFIC banks, while choosing winners and losers.
In Canada, my government announced just last week that they’ve singled out SIX Banks that are TOO BIG TO FAIL. Why would they do that, unless they know something the people do not?
And how do they intend to stop any of these SIX Banks from failing. short of pulling a Cyprus?
LET’S STOP PRETENDING THAT THE GOVERNMENT WORKS FOR US:
I don’t care where you live, whether it is in the United States of America or Canada, or somewhere else on the planet that is supposedly a “DEMOCRATIC” society . . . IT IS WE WHO WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT.
The government stopped working for the people the moment the politicians discovered FOUR things:
1 – When the politicians figured-out that they can buy the votes of the majority with the people’s own money.
2 – When politicians passed restrictive laws with no revolt from the people whose rights had been infringed.
3 – When the government determined that it would not be held accountable to obey its own laws.
4 – When Constitutional GUARANTEES became debatable concepts in the Courts.
We in North America, but MOST specifically in the United States of America are indeed FOOLS out of all reasonable proportions for surrendering our FREEDOMS to the people we elect to PROTECT those FREEDOMS.
AYN RAND WROTE:
“There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”
WOULD YOU VOTE FOR ANYONE WHO WOULD SAY THE FOLLOWING?
Vote for me and I’ll tell you how to live your personal life . . . I’ve actually asked this question quite a few times, and as unbelievable as this might be, several people asked me under what circumstances would that apply?
At first I asked what’s the difference? And got into a debate. Then I thought about it, and I realized that if I was willing to debate with IDIOTS, what does that make me?
So, when my question is answered with anything but NO . . . I simply walk away fully understanding that this person is not just a FOOL, but is indeed an ENEMY to my FREEDOM.
You would be shocked at the number of people who would NOT say NO right off the bat, somehow having to think about whether they would vote for or against a politician who would campaign on a platform that would say . . . Vote for me and I’ll tell you how to live.
BUT - THE VAST NUMBER OF PEOPLE DO SAY NO . . . So, why does virtually every person vote for EVERY politician who does just that; meaning that once in power, all but a minuscule few actually do pass laws every day that tell the people whom they are supposed to work for and serve . . . how they should live?
TO ME . . . THE PERFECT EXAMPLE IS NEW YORK CITY’S MAYOR BLOOMBERG:
When Bloomberg decided that restaurants should not be allowed to put salt on the tables, and serve salt only at the request of patrons, he should have been tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail.
Instead . . . restaurant owners complied.
Bloomberg isn’t the IDIOT . . . it is the stupid people who acquiesced to having a FREEDOM denied to them who are the real IDIOTS and defilers of the very FREEDOMS that had ONCE-UPON-A-TIME made America the greatest nation on earth, and the envy of the planet.
In Bloomberg’s case it might only be salt. But remember this . . . it was ONLY Tea that lit the fuse of revolution on December 16, 1773 at Boston Harbor.
FREEDOM-LOVING people should clearly understand, that we are facing several foes who will rob us from our FREEDOMS. But, the single enemy we should fear the most . . . is the enemy from within, who with twisted LEFTIST logic would control our lives through supposed “Democratic” legislation for the “benefit of the supposed many”.
We the people have become so accustomed to saying yes to governments which intrude upon our private lives, that most of us don’t even know that we have become VASSALS of the modern state.
But at one point, as the government runs out of money, and the system begins to collapse upon its own over-regulated weight, the people will rise-up as people have always done throughout history . . . and will take back their FREEDOMS.
AND IT WON’T BE PRETTY . . . And for that we have only the FOOLS to thank.
