Last week, the FCC with a 3 to 2 Obama majority got to work drafting a “report” on the state of media journalism – and here is what confidential sources say the report’s recommendations include:
“... the possibility of ’behavioral rules’ for broadcasters ... which might include ... bringing back Cold War-era guidelines.”
Did a chill just go down your spine, too?
Make no mistake, Obama’s FCC, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are coming after Talk Radio. Search the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) web site to find their stand against this incredible encroachment on Freedom of the Press and you’ll find ... nothing. NOTHING!
NAB is leaderless, scattered across 100 other issues and, apparently, afraid. Radio people and radio listeners are going to have to fight alone here. That is why we need to build a grassroots online army NOW – to fight this government “taking” of the free press. Please, send this message to people in your community who believe in Freedom of the Press and who value News, Sports, and Talk Radio.
